In the last five years together, your hosts Jenny and Mark, have created and completed Lauchlan Lodge.

Jenny, who originally came to Napier with her family to settle, has had over 40 years experience in the hospitality industry. Starting her career helping run a family owned hotel, she then ran her own renowned busy farm back packers and gained a wealth of knowledge from owning a successful cafe and catering business.

Mark has lived all his life in the Bay, running his own highly successful business within the building industry.

Both Jenny and Mark have a wide range of interests – travel, horse racing, meeting new people, trying new restaurants (always on the lookout for new ideas), duck shooting and fishing.

As a small intimate Lodge, guests can relax and enjoy personal attention from them both. You may also get to meet Buffy, the lovable black miniature poodle and Felix, their cheeky 18 year old cat, who follows the sun all day and loves to pose for the camera.
